Mother Teresa Meal Ministry
“Lord, when did we see you hungry and not feed you?” We all see the hungry on street corners around the Tri-Cities and it can be hard to know, practically speaking, what Jesus is asking us to do. Do you want to follow Jesus’s call to feed the hungry, but just don’t know how to start? There’s a new ministry at St. Joseph’s Parish just for you! The Mother Teresa Meal Ministry makes 160 lunches on the third Tuesday of every month after the 8:30 morning Mass (around 9:10-9:45am) in Dillon Hall AND on 1st Sundays after the 9am Mass (around 10:15-11am) for the Union Gospel Mission to distribute.
We don’t just need help assembling sandwiches; we also really need food donations. We provide ham sandwiches on 3rd Tuesdays, and turkey sandwiches on 1st Sundays. Please sign up using the links below to help. Food donations may be dropped off in the parish office during operating hours the week before assembly.
